I made this sampler afghan for my friend, Valerie. I wanted her to feel loved when she snuggled up in it! I used a vintage 60's pattern book. The book has 100 stitches, I used 35 of them. My final selection of yarn was slightly different from this yarn photo. I eliminated the yellow, pale blue, and used 3 of each color family, wherever I could. I wish I could make another one for myself, in my own colors! Maybe next year?
