Thanks Sharon For This Awesome Blog Layout!

                    Isn't this theme just perfect?
I Love it! It makes me "sew happy!"
Actually, that's the name of it!  SEW HAPPY!
I hope she doesn't mind it, but I made some Thank You cards for my ETSY shop and others. I used some print-out stickers from the Thank-You avatar, along with other sewing themed art I  purchased from another talented lady,  named Jamie, from Masterpiece Designs. I had so much fun making these, I cut out another stack of paper for another batch!
Since I'm only JUST learning how to create with my PC, mastering  basic Word and Publisher skills are still
on my priority list! BUT.... I'm thrilled with the way these turned out!

Final Fitting and Pick-Up Day!

This Bridal Gown was cut down 8 inches, both in the body and the length. It started as a size 14, and ended up a 2 Petitte. My Bride was very happy! This dress had thousands of tiny lace and tulle layers making up the skirt, the tiny ruffled tiers went all the way to the hem of the train.

This Gown had the most fabric taken out of it than any other Bridal Gown I have ever worked on in my entire life! Too bad I wasn't able to get a BEFORE Picture!

Craft-a-long... 100 Flowers Book

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=400335.0
    I started a Craft-Along on Craftster.Org for a book entitled:
100 Flowers to Knit And Crochet; by Leslie Stanfield.
In this Photo Collage I have made a small batch of  flowers in
Crochet, with a size 1.80 hook, and size 10 Soft Twist Craft Thread. I'm showing the multi-color pack I purchased for this, each skein is 10 yards in length. I really love the little butterfly the best!
Also, I'm starting some of the knitted flowers and leaves with a set of tiny size 0 DPNS. ( That's double-pointed needles)
Please check them out ! I haven't decided what to do with the flowers yet, but they will be used to embellish lot's of things, like gift packages for starters!

New knitting project! Vintage 50's/60's pattern

I'm knitting my Uncle Joe a COLD WEATHER sweater. He's moving up to Washington State soon, and he's elderly. I found a pattern in my old childhood favorite craft primer: McCall's Needlework and Crafts.
I'm using two strands of Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool. This sweater is VERY thick. I am at the point where the raglan armholes need to be  shaped ( and I have both sleeves on the needles together), but I'm concerned the pattern is flawed. More about this later! I'll be back to edit this post with pictures and details.
